Inspection
- Inspect monthly to ensure the extinguisher is fully charged and undamaged.
- Verify that the pressure gauge needle is within the green zone.
Maintenance
- Perform maintenance as per IS 2190 standards.
- Check pressure gauge weekly. The needle should remain in the green zone.
- If it falls into the red zone, send the extinguisher for immediate recharge.
Use
- Suitable for classes of fire A, B & C.
Recharge
- Use only HCFC 123 for recharging.
- Do not rely on partially used or discharged extinguishers.
- Recharge after partial or complete use of extinguisher.
- Only use manufacturer approved replacement parts and authorized service provider for recharging.
Caution
- Content under pressure.
- Do not puncture or incinerate the container.
- Store away from direct sunlight and direct heat.
Operating Manual
- Carry the extinguisher to fire, keep the extinguisher upright & uncoil the hose.
- Open the safety valve by rotating anti clockwise.
- Aim nozzle at the base of the fire.
- Sweep the nozzle side to side.
